In a bid to give an insight into working life at Hutchinson Engineering, the company hosted an open day on Saturday 14th April, which welcomed potential employees from throughout Northern Ireland to their 80,000 sq ft world class manufacturing facility in Kilrea.

Mark Hutchinson, Managing Director, says “In an industry where there is a significant skills shortage, over the years we have made it our mission to continually provide local people with the opportunity to get involved in the industry and this open day is an extension of that.

“As a family run business, we value the importance of our employee’s role within the company, ensuring that they are encouraged and have an opportunity to grow and develop from the moment they step foot through the door.

The company offers a number of exciting opportunities in production and technical support areas to include Engineering, Quality, Programming, Lasers, Press Brake, Trainee opportunities and General Production roles.

Mark concludes, “Our open day was the perfect opportunity for people to come down to see our state of the art facilities, have a look at our machinery and talk to our highly skilled team about the career opportunities at Hutchinson Engineering.”
